Prior to joining Atlantic NeuroSurgical Specialists, Dr. Ronald Benitez was an Assistant Professor of Neurosurgery at Jefferson Medical College/ Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Dr. Benitez completed medical school at Georgetown University School of Medicine in Washington, DC and then completed his neurosurgical residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Dr. Benitez’s fellowship was done in cerebrovascular surgery and interventional neuroradiology. He is board certified in neurosurgery.

Dr. Benitez is one of the few neurosurgeons who are specialized in both the surgical and endovascular management of cerebrovascular disease. The emergence of minimally invasive endovascular procedures has allowed many life threatening lesions to be treated with less risk than more traditional open surgery.

The dynamic President and CEO of JAG Physical Therapy, John Gallucci, Jr., MS, ATC, PT, DPT, is in demand for his expertise in injury prevention, rehabilitation, sports medicine and athletic conditioning. He has appeared often on radio and television, including ESPN’s award-winning “Outside the Lines”, MSG Varsity, NJ News 12, WFAN and is a popular public speaker.

Gallucci has made a major impact in his fields throughout the New York/New Jersey area, and holds a national presence in the sports medicine community. JAG Physical Therapy now offers comprehensive orthopedic outpatient centers in West Orange, Warren, Cedar Knolls, Union, Hackensack, Woodbridge, Fairfield, Old Bridge, Holmdel, Princeton, Chatham, Brick and Wayne, New Jersey, as well as Sleepy Hollow, Yonkers, Hawthorne, and New York, NY.

Genomic Medicine

Dr. Arnold Pallay, a founding member of Vanguard Medical Group and Director of Practice Development, is a board-certified family physician in private practice in Montville, NJ since 1986. He previously founded Changebridge Medical Associates, P.A. a mid-sized, full service practice before merging into Vanguard Medical Group in 2012. Dr. Pallay graduated from the accelerated medical program at Boston University completing both his undergraduate major in history and his medical school studies there. He then finished his residency in Family Medicine at The Mountainside Hospital, where he served as Chief Resident. He was part-time faculty coordinator for obstetrics training there, until completing his 18 years of providing maternity care to his patients in 2003. Dr. Pallay holds clinical academic appointments at both, NJ Medical Schools and the Seton Hall Graduate School of Medicine.

Dr. Pallay is currently Vice Chair of Family Medicine at Morristown Medical Center and is the Associate Medical Director of Personalized Genomic Medicine at Atlantic Health System, Morristown Memorial/ Overlook Hospitals, where he lectures and champions issues in genetics for physicians and patients alike. He is the Medical Director for several area nursing homes and school physician for a number of neighboring towns as well. He has served as President of the Morris County Medical Society, the New Jersey Academy of Family Physicians and the NJ Association of Medical Specialty Societies. Dr. Pallay is senior delegate to the Congress of Delegates from NJ to AAFP, and has served on its Commission on Finance and Insurance.
